Delphin Opium BlacxCARP 3G TechnoCORK

After a huge success of the previous generations of the rod OPIUM, it was hard to come up with something new. However, we still managed to do it with a 3G model that will impress many carp anglers. The third generation called OPIUM BlacXCARP is a jewel among carp rods.

The base of this rod is a well-known 30T carbon blank with some new improvements. It’s eye-catchingly slim and it has great action during fights or casting. Versatile 3 lbs casting weights that you know so well from the previous generation have a convenient action that will help you tackle down trophy fish and at the same time it lets you enjoy fights with smaller fish as well. Plus, this series has new casting weights. The 360 cm/2.75 lbs version has a parabolic action and it’s an ideal choice for those anglers who want to fully enjoy each encounter with their catch. The 3.25 and 3.5 lbs versions have a fast blank suitable for long casting.

This rod has a high-quality ergonomic FUJI reel seat with an EVA foam on the sides, guides with SiC inserts and a handmade pattern on a carbon wrap above the handle.

The biggest asset is the handle itself. From now on, you don’t need to deal with an old dilemma whether to buy a comfortable cork handle that is hard to maintain or a rubber-coated handle that’s easy to maintain but it’s not that comfortable. The new generation of OPIUM has a handle covered in TechnoCORK material. Apart from just looking good, it has many functional benefits. It’s a special rubber surface that’s comfortable to touch and it has great anti-slip properties. This makes the handle both comfortable and practical. The design of the TechnoCORK material is similar to black cork and when you look closer, you’ll surely notice small Delphin logos with letters TC, the acronym for TechnoCORK.
